The Future of Science in the Mexican University

Abstract

Perhaps some readers find in this document a pessimistic vision of the future of science in the university in Mexico; but the certain thing, is that we wanted to approach with knowledge of cause and experience the future of science. One is not to guess or to foretell; we speculated on the manifest destiny of science with base in the dominant rationality. For the presentation of our exposition we began to locate to science within the university, if we want to understand science we must understand the situation of the university; later we entered ourselves to a referential question of data to show in a general way the prevailing situation, and finally we displayed in the conclusions that future announced by the conducted actions.
