Science War and the Third Culture

Abstract

Concepts of "third culture" (Snow, 1963; Brockman, 1991), "science wars" (Andrew Ross, 1995) and their mutual relationship are reviewed and analyzed from diverse scientific, sociological, historical and philosophical perspectives. An interpretation sets out from the philosophy that implies the plurality of sciences and could solve some intellectual and scientific impostures.
