María Belén Ortega (belenmim@gmail.com) Facultad de Comunicación, Historia y Ciencias Sociales, Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción (Concepción, Chile Abstract Social work is assumed as transdisciplinary and because of that the aim of this paper is to reflect about the complex foundations of intervention theory, constructed from an organic and consistent profession. The idea is to contribute to the creation of a corpus that overcomes the technological tradition responding to three challenges: the creation of inclusive and collaborative processes with subjects, the transformation of diagnosis and intervention techniques in research resources, and the inclusion of symbols as an inseparable dimension from everyday practices and social structures of the subjects of study and intervention. Key words: social work, transdiscipline, intervention theory, complexity, performativity. |
